Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mashed ripe banana (about 1 large banana)
- 3/4 cup self-rising flour
- Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: pinch of salt
- Optional: 2–3 tbsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
Instructions
- Mash the ripe banana until smooth, ensuring you have exactly 1/2 cup.
- Add the self-rising flour and stir until a sticky dough forms. Mix in optional flavorings if using.
- Lightly oil your hands and knead the dough into a soft ball. Scoop 1 tbsp portions and roll into balls.
- Place balls on parchment paper and spray lightly with oil.
- Air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 6–7 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Optional: brush with melted coconut oil and roll in cinnamon sugar while warm.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Substitute self-rising flour with all-purpose flour plus 2 tsp baking powder.
- You can bake them in a mini muffin tin at 350°F for about 15 minutes instead of air frying.
- Best enjoyed fresh but can be stored for 1–2 days.
- For extra sweetness, add a glaze or coat with cinnamon sugar.
