Ingredients

12 oz spaghetti

1 lb lean ground beef

1 (28 oz) jar spaghetti sauce

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Pinch of garlic salt

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain well.
  3. Meanwhile, brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until fully cooked, about 5–7 minutes. Drain fat.
  4. Stir spaghetti sauce into the cooked beef and simmer briefly.
  5. In a large bowl, mix drained spaghetti with cream cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, and garlic salt until evenly coated.
  6. Spread a layer of the meat sauce in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  7. Layer the spaghetti mixture over the sauce.
  8. Top with the remaining meat sauce, then sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella over the top.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.
