- 3 large sweet onions

- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
- Peel the onions and slice them into 1/2 inch thick rounds. Arrange in a single layer in the dish.
- Drizzle melted butter over the onions, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, until onions are tender and lightly caramelized.
- Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake uncovered for another 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
