Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons banana flavoring
- 1/2 teaspoon yellow food color gel
- 3/4 cup salted sweet cream butter
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla flavoring
- 3 cups plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 3/4 cups white baking chips
- 7 ounces marshmallow fluff
- 2 tablespoons crushed Nilla wafers (optional for garnish)
Instructions
- Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
- In a small bowl, mix banana flavoring and yellow food color gel. Set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add butter, half and half, heavy cream, and vanilla. Stir until melted and smooth.
- Add granulated sugar and stir constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer for 6–7 minutes, then cook an additional 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and add white baking chips. Cover and let sit for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in marshmallow fluff until smooth.
- Add the banana flavoring and color mix. Stir until well combined and evenly colored.
- Spread the fudge evenly in the prepared dish. Sprinkle crushed Nilla wafers on top if using.
- Cover with foil and let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until fully set.
- Cut into 25 squares and serve chilled.
Notes
- Do not use fresh bananas—they affect the texture and setting.
- Mix in nuts, chocolate chips, or peanut butter for extra flavor.
- Chill thoroughly before cutting for clean slices.
- Wrap tightly and store in the fridge for best freshness.
