Banana Fudge is a rich, creamy no-bake dessert with nostalgic banana and vanilla flavors. Quick to prepare and perfect for gifting or indulging, it’s made with marshmallow fluff, white chocolate chips, and a sweet banana twist.

  • Total Time: 4 hours 30 minutes
  • Yield: 25 pieces

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons banana flavoring
  • 1/2 teaspoon yellow food color gel
  • 3/4 cup salted sweet cream butter
  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon clear vanilla flavoring
  • 3 cups plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups white baking chips
  • 7 ounces marshmallow fluff
  • 2 tablespoons crushed Nilla wafers (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Line a 9×9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
  2. In a small bowl, mix banana flavoring and yellow food color gel. Set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, add butter, half and half, heavy cream, and vanilla. Stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Add granulated sugar and stir constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer for 6–7 minutes, then cook an additional 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Remove from heat and add white baking chips. Cover and let sit for 3–4 minutes.
  6. Stir in marshmallow fluff until smooth.
  7. Add the banana flavoring and color mix. Stir until well combined and evenly colored.
  8. Spread the fudge evenly in the prepared dish. Sprinkle crushed Nilla wafers on top if using.
  9. Cover with foil and let cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours until fully set.
  10. Cut into 25 squares and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Do not use fresh bananas—they affect the texture and setting.
  • Mix in nuts, chocolate chips, or peanut butter for extra flavor.
  • Chill thoroughly before cutting for clean slices.
  • Wrap tightly and store in the fridge for best freshness.
