Ingredients
- 6 fresh jalapeños, halved lengthwise and seeded
- 4 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cut into 12 cubes
- 1/4 cup berry jam (blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, or mixed berry)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes thoroughly.
- Brush jalapeño halves lightly with olive oil and place cut side up on the baking sheet.
- Spoon about 1 teaspoon of berry jam into each half.
- Place one cube of brie on top of the jam in each pepper.
- Sprinkle lightly with salt and black pepper.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until jalapeños soften and brie is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with honey if desired, and cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Remove all membranes for less heat.
- Do not overfill to prevent spilling during baking.
- Assemble up to 8 hours ahead and refrigerate before baking.
- Reheat in oven to maintain texture; avoid microwaving.
- Best served warm for creamy texture.
