Ingredients
- 1 package Original King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, divided
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and set tops aside.
- In a bowl, whisk pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Let set for a few minutes.
- In another bowl, whip ½ cup heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into the pudding to make the filling.
- Spread filling evenly over the bottom halves of the rolls. Replace the tops.
- Heat remaining ½ cup heavy cream until warm, then pour over chocolate chips in a bowl.
- Stir chocolate mixture until smooth and glossy.
- Spoon chocolate over the tops of the rolls and spread evenly.
- Chill for 30 minutes, then cut into individual bites and serve.
Notes
- Swap vanilla pudding with chocolate or banana pudding for a twist.
- Add sliced bananas for extra flavor and texture.
- Mix butter into the chocolate glaze for a richer topping.
- Use brioche or soft dinner rolls if Hawaiian rolls aren’t available.
