Ingredients
- For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on or off)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Cajun Butter Sauce:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp honey (optional)
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Toss shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in honey (if using), smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with rice, pasta, or bread.

- Include bell peppers, spinach, or tomatoes for extra veggies.
- Serve in tacos with avocado and lime crema for a fun twist.
