Ingredients

  • 10 chicken legs or wings
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels to help the glaze adhere better.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, minced garlic, olive oil, black pepper, paprika, and salt until smooth.
  4. Arrange the chicken legs in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and turn the pieces to coat them well.
  6. Bake for about 35 minutes.
  7. Halfway through baking, spoon some of the sauce from the pan over the chicken to help build a sticky glaze.
  8. Continue baking for another 10–15 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and caramelized. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
  9. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
  10. Spoon the remaining sauce from the pan over the chicken before serving.
