Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh strawberries
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 ounces dark or milk chocolate, melted
Instructions
- Wash and thoroughly dry strawberries. Make sure they’re completely dry so chocolate sticks well.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until thick and creamy.
- Using a piping bag or small spoon, fill each strawberry with the cheesecake mixture.
- Dip each filled strawberry into melted chocolate, letting excess drip off.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until the chocolate is set.
Notes
- Use fresh, firm strawberries for best results.
- Add citrus zest to the filling for extra flavor.
- Top with sprinkles or crushed nuts before the chocolate sets.
- Store in the fridge and serve chilled.
