Ingredients
- 4 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 4 ounces dark chocolate
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and orange extract until completely smooth.
- Add 2 cups of powdered sugar and the milk, mixing until creamy and well blended.
- Gradually add the remaining powdered sugar and mix until a soft, smooth dough forms.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm.
- Flatten each ball slightly with the back of a fork to create ridges.
- Melt the dark chocolate gently, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each cream halfway into the melted chocolate and return to the parchment-lined sheet.
- Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until the chocolate is fully set.
Notes
- Chill the dough if it becomes too sticky to handle.
- Allow candies to soften slightly at room temperature before serving.
- Store refrigerated due to the cream cheese filling.
