Ingredients
- 1 batch sugar cookie dough or 1 roll refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup coarse sanding sugar
- 26 Hershey’s milk chocolate Kisses
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the cocoa powder into the sugar cookie dough until fully combined and chocolate-colored.
- Roll dough into small balls and coat each ball in coarse sanding sugar.
- Place dough balls on the baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until set but still soft.
- Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie after baking.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

- Use dark or white chocolate Kisses for variation.
