Ingredients
- 2 cups peanut butter–filled pretzels
- 15 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 12 ounces white chocolate or white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place crushed Oreo cookies in a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the white chocolate gently in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals or over a double boiler, stirring until smooth.
- Add peanut butter–filled pretzels to the bowl with the cookie crumbs, then pour the melted white chocolate over the mixture.
- Toss everything carefully until the pretzels are fully coated.
- Sprinkle in the powdered sugar and toss again until each piece is evenly coated and takes on a dark, coal-like appearance.
- Spread the bites onto the prepared baking sheet and let them set until the chocolate is fully hardened.
Notes
- These bites can be made ahead and stored at room temperature or refrigerated.
- Plain pretzels can be used with added peanut butter if filled pretzels are unavailable.
- For the darkest coal color, ensure Oreo cookies are finely crushed and coating is even.
