Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the chicken pieces and toss until fully coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and fully cooked.
- While the chicken cooks, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl to make the dipping sauce.
- Serve chicken bites hot, garnished with chopped parsley and with the dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
- Substitute chicken thighs for a juicier texture.
- Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter dip.
- For extra heat, double the red pepper flakes or add hot sauce to the marinade.
- Air fry chicken bites at 400°F for 10–12 minutes for a crispier texture.
- Store dipping sauce in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
