Ingredients
- 1 can crescent roll dough (8-count)
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
- In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle, then top with a small dollop of cranberry sauce.
- Roll each triangle from the wide end to the tip, tucking in the filling as you go.
- Place the crescent bites on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Add orange zest to the cream cheese for a citrus twist.
- Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze for a sweeter finish.
- Swap cranberry sauce with cherry or blueberry filling for variation.
- Reheat in oven to keep the dough flaky; avoid microwave.
- Can be made ahead and refrigerated before baking.
