Ingredients
- 1 boneless turkey breast (about 3–4 lbs)
- 1 can (14 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place the turkey breast into your crockpot (slow cooker).
- In a bowl, mix together the cranberry sauce, onion soup mix, chicken broth, brown sugar, dried thyme, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Pour the mixture over the turkey breast in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours, or until the turkey is tender and reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove the turkey, slice, and serve with the cranberry sauce spooned over the top.
Notes
- Add a splash of orange juice or zest for a citrusy twist.
- Substitute thyme with rosemary or sage for a different flavor.
- For a spicier version, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
- Can be oven-roasted at 375°F (190°C) until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Pair with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or stuffing for a complete meal.
