Ingredients
- 2 packages cream cheese (200 g each), softened
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk (395 g each)
- 1 can evaporated milk (354 ml)
- 2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (60 ml)
- 200–250 g Maria cookies
Instructions
- Peel the mangoes and cut the flesh into chunks.
- Place the mango pieces in a blender along with the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and lemon juice.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.
- In a rectangular or round mold, arrange a layer of Maria cookies to cover the bottom.
- Pour a layer of the mango cream mixture over the cookies.
- Add another layer of Maria cookies on top of the cream.
- Continue layering cookies and mango cream until the mold is full, finishing with a layer of the mango mixture.
- Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the dessert is firm and chilled.
- Slice and serve cold.
Notes
- Use ripe, sweet mangoes for the best flavor and natural sweetness.
- If using frozen mango, thaw it completely and drain excess liquid before blending.
- Graham crackers or digestive biscuits can replace Maria cookies.
- For extra texture, add small mango cubes between the layers.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
