Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 24 ounces pasta sauce
  • 14 ounces crushed tomatoes

  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot.
  3. Add pasta sauce and crushed tomatoes on top of the beef.
  4. Sprinkle in Italian seasoning, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Add the bay leaf.
