A smooth and creamy no-bake coffee flan dessert made with milk and coffee flan mix, chilled until silky and topped with caramel for a simple treat perfect for coffee lovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 packet coffee flan mix (about 120 g, such as Royal coffee flan mix)
  • 500 ml whole milk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee (optional, for stronger flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons caramel sauce for the mold

Instructions

  1. Lightly coat the bottom of a flan mold or serving dish with caramel sauce.
  2. In a saucepan, pour the milk and add the sugar, stirring gently until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Add the coffee flan mix to the milk and whisk thoroughly until completely dissolved and smooth.
  4. If you prefer a stronger coffee flavor, add the instant coffee and mix well.
  5. Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture thickens and begins to gently boil.
  6. Remove from heat and continue stirring for about 30 seconds to maintain a smooth texture.
  7. Pour the mixture into the prepared mold.
  8. Allow it to cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
  9. Refrigerate for at least 2 to 3 hours until fully set.
  10. To serve, run a knife around the edges and invert onto a plate if desired.

  • Whisk the flan mix thoroughly before heating to avoid lumps.
  • Stir continuously while cooking to maintain a smooth consistency.
  • Use instant coffee only if you want a stronger coffee flavor.
