Ingredients
- 2 lobster tails
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, finely chopped)
- Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to broil (or 450°F if roasting). For air fryer, preheat to 375°F.
- Using kitchen shears, cut through the top of each lobster shell lengthwise. Gently pull the shell open and lift the meat out, resting it on top while keeping it attached at the base.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter mixture. Reserve some for serving.
- Place the lobster tails on a lined baking sheet or in an air fryer basket.
- Broil for 8–10 minutes, roast for 12–15 minutes, or air fry for 7–9 minutes until the meat is opaque and reaches 140°F.
- Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and remaining garlic butter.
Notes
- Thaw frozen lobster tails overnight before cooking.
- Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
- Grill for a smoky variation — about 5–6 minutes per side.
- For spice, add cayenne or Old Bay to the butter mix.
- Leftovers keep for 2 days in the fridge and reheat best in a low oven.
