Garlic Butter Lobster Tails are a decadent yet easy-to-make dish, combining tender lobster meat with a rich, garlicky butter sauce and a hint of lemon. Perfect for special dinners or an indulgent treat at home.

Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails (68 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell of each lobster tail from end to base.
  3. Gently lift the meat out and rest it on top of the shell, keeping it attached at the base.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Spoon the garlic butter mixture generously over the lobster meat.
  6. Place lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until meat is opaque and lightly browned.
  7. Optionally, broil for the last 2 minutes for a crisp finish.
  8. Spoon remaining garlic butter over the lobster before serving.

Notes

  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan on top before baking for a cheesy crust.
  • Use smoked paprika for a deeper, smoky flavor.
  • Double the lemon juice and add zest for more citrus punch.
  • Grill over medium-high heat if preferred, 5–6 minutes per side.
