Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter, divided
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Remove steak from the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Cut steak into evenly sized cubes and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Once hot, add steak cubes in a single layer without overcrowding. Sear for about 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer cooked steak to a plate and repeat with remaining pieces if needed.
- Reduce heat to medium-low and add the remaining butter to the skillet.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, without browning.
- Remove skillet from heat, return steak and juices to the pan, and toss to coat in garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use ribeye or strip steak for a richer flavor.
- Add red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy twist.
- Try your favorite steak seasoning blend instead of just salt and pepper.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for 3 to 4 days, but avoid freezing.
- Reheat gently over low heat to maintain steak tenderness.
