Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
Dough (store-bought or homemade), enough for 12 pieces
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon minced garlic or garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined. Set aside.
- Roll out dough and cut into 12 squares large enough to hold a spoonful of filling.
- Place beef-cheese mixture in center of each square, fold edges, and seal to form balls.
- Mix melted butter, parmesan, and garlic; brush over each ball.
- Bake 15–20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Add chopped onions or pickles to the filling for extra flavor.
- Swap cheddar for mozzarella for a milder cheese pull.
- For spice, add chopped jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture.
- Use ground turkey or chicken as a lighter alternative.
- Air-fry instead of baking for a crispier texture.
