Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups (270 g) 60% dark or higher chocolate
- 3/4 cup thick coconut yogurt or Greek-style yogurt (unsweetened vanilla works well)
- Optional: pinch of sea salt, 1 tsp vanilla extract, chopped nuts, or dried fruit
Instructions
- Let the yogurt sit at room temperature for a few minutes to avoid seizing the chocolate.
- Line a small loaf pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- Melt the chocolate in a bowl using a microwave (30-second intervals, stirring between) or a double boiler until smooth.
- Pour the melted chocolate over the yogurt and mix quickly with a spatula until fully combined and smooth.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan, smooth the top, and optionally sprinkle with sea salt.
- Freeze for 2–3 hours until firm. Once set, cut into squares and enjoy.
- Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Notes
- Use full-fat, thick yogurt for best texture—Greek or coconut yogurt works best.
- Make it vegan by using plant-based yogurt and chocolate.
- Add-ins like peanut butter, nuts, or mint extract personalize the flavor.
- Let sit a few minutes at room temp before serving for best consistency.
