Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz / 300 g) cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) milk
- 2 cans (14.5 oz / 410 g each) green beans, drained
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup (85 g) crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- In a large bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until smooth.
- Add cooked beef mixture and drained green beans. Stir to combine.
- Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread evenly and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 20 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle crispy fried onions on top, and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
