Ingredients

  • 10 slices soft white sandwich bread
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Trim crusts from each bread slice and flatten with a rolling pin until thin.
  2. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  3. Brush one side of each slice with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Drizzle about 1 teaspoon honey over each slice and sprinkle walnuts if using.
  6. Roll each slice tightly into a log shape.
  7. Brush the outside lightly with more melted butter.
  8. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  9. Place roll-ups seam-side down in basket, leaving space between each.
  10. Cook for 6–8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  11. Drizzle with additional honey while warm and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
  12. For oven method, bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until crisp and golden.
