Ingredients
- 1 whole pineapple, peeled, cored, and cut into chunks (about 4 cups)
- 120 g fresh ginger root, peeled and roughly chopped (about 1 packed cup)
- 1 whole lemon, peeled and quartered
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon turmeric powder (or 2 tablespoons fresh grated turmeric)
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper (added before drinking or blended in)
Instructions
- Prepare all produce by peeling and chopping the pineapple, ginger, and lemon.
- Add pineapple, ginger, lemon, apple cider vinegar, and turmeric powder to a high-speed blender.
- Blend on high for 1–2 minutes until smooth.
- Place a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer over a bowl or pitcher and strain the blended mixture, squeezing out all liquid.
- Pour the strained juice into small glass bottles or jars suitable for shots.
- Add a pinch of black pepper to each shot before drinking, or blend it in during preparation. Shake well and serve or refrigerate.
Notes
- Shake well before drinking as natural separation occurs.
- Add cold water or coconut water for a milder flavor.
- Blend in apple or dates for extra sweetness.
- Not suitable for freezing or reheating.
