Ingredients
- 9 oz (≈ 255 g) cheese tortellini (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried Italian herbs (such as oregano, basil and thyme)
- ½ cup (≈ 50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the cheese tortellini according to package directions until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, toss the cooked tortellini with olive oil, garlic powder, and Italian herbs until evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned tortellini in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and slightly crisp on the edges.
- Transfer to a serving platter, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
- Best served warm for optimal crispness and texture.
- Can be prepped in advance and baked just before serving.
- Try other dips like pesto, ranch, or garlic aioli for variety.
- Microwave reheating softens texture; oven is best for crispiness.
