Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, honey, and optional vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt to create the custard mixture.
  3. Spread the honey-butter mixture on four slices of bread, then top each with another slice to form sandwiches.
  4. Cut each sandwich into 3–4 sticks.
  5. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
