Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 28 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 3/4 cup fresh key lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon key lime zest
  • 4 large egg yolks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and granulated sugar. Add melted butter and stir until evenly moistened.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish to form a crust.
  4. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly.
  5. In a bowl, whisk egg yolks until slightly thickened.
  6. Add sweetened condensed milk and whisk until smooth.
  7. Stir in key lime juice and zest until fully combined.
