- 12 mini burger buns
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or butter
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and lightly grease with oil or butter.
- Divide the ground beef into 12 equal portions and gently shape into mini patties.
- Season both sides of each patty with salt and black pepper.
- Cook patties for 2 to 3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Top each patty with a half slice of cheese and let melt for about 30 seconds.
- Lightly toast mini buns if desired, then assemble each burger with a cheesy patty.

Notes
- Add garlic powder or onion powder to the beef for extra flavor.
- Swap cheddar for American or Swiss cheese.
- Add sliced jalapeños, hot sauce, caramelized onions, or pickles for variation.
- Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent shrinking.
- Store cooked patties in the fridge for up to 3 days; reheat before assembling.
