Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the milk, heavy whipping cream, and chopped milk chocolate.
- Place over medium heat and stir frequently to prevent scorching.
- Heat for 2–3 minutes until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Do not allow it to boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in the fresh orange juice and orange zest until fully incorporated.
- Pour into mugs and serve immediately. Add optional toppings if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, replace heavy cream with additional milk.
- Use dark chocolate for a deeper flavor and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or a drop of vanilla extract for extra warmth.
- Stir constantly and avoid boiling to maintain a smooth texture.
