Instructions

- Cook breakfast sausage in a skillet until browned and cooked through. Drain excess fat if needed.
- In a large bowl, whisk together pancake mix, milk, and egg until smooth.
- Stir in cooked sausage and 1/2 cup maple syrup.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm with additional maple syrup if desired.
