Ingredients
1 cup cottage cheese
1 large peach, sliced (fresh or frozen)
1 tsp butter (optional, for sautéing)
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Heat a small skillet over medium heat and add butter, if using.
- Once melted, add sliced peaches and sprinkle with cinnamon. Sauté for 3–5 minutes until soft and warm.
- While peaches cook, scoop cottage cheese into a bowl.
- Top cottage cheese with the warm cinnamon peaches.
- Drizzle with maple syrup and add optional toppings like granola or chopped nuts if desired.
- Serve immediately while peaches are still warm.
Notes
- Use frozen peaches if fresh aren’t available—just cook slightly longer.
- Swap peaches for apples in the fall for a seasonal variation.
- Top with granola, toasted nuts, or seeds for added crunch and texture.
- Canned peaches can be used, but drain well and skip sweetened syrup.
- Replace maple syrup with honey, agave, or a sprinkle of brown sugar as preferred.
