Ingredients
- 4 chocolate-glazed donuts
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup creamy peanut butter (for drizzle)
- 8 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until fully combined.
- Blend in ½ cup of peanut butter until the filling is thick, smooth, and fluffy.
- Slice each donut horizontally to create a top and bottom half.
- Spread or pipe a generous amount of cheesecake filling onto the bottom half of each donut.
- Place the top halves back on to form donut sandwiches.
- Warm the remaining ¼ cup of peanut butter slightly until it can be drizzled.
- Drizzle the peanut butter over the top of each donut sandwich.
- Serve immediately or chill for 20 minutes for a firmer texture.
Notes
- Use vanilla-glazed or plain donuts as a substitute for chocolate-glazed ones.
- Add cocoa powder to the filling for a chocolate-peanut butter twist.
- Mix in chopped peanuts or mini chocolate chips for added texture.
- Keep chilled if not serving immediately to maintain filling texture.
