- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground sausage
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 yellow onion, chopped

- 3 cups marinara sauce

- 6 English muffins, split
- 2 ounces pepperoni
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and sausage in a large skillet, breaking it up as it cooks.
- When halfway cooked, add butter, mushrooms, and chopped onion. Cook until softened and browned.
- Add garlic and marjoram; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in marinara sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, toast split English muffins under the broiler until lightly golden.
- Spoon meat mixture onto each muffin half, top with pepperoni and mozzarella.
- Broil again until cheese is melted and bubbling. Serve hot.
