Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1 cup caramel sauce, plus extra for drizzling
- Flaky sea salt for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently stir in crushed pretzels.
- Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan, drizzle caramel sauce over it, then top with remaining batter.
- Add extra caramel on top and swirl lightly with a knife. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly soft.
- Cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into blondies.
