Ingredients
- Salami slices
- Green olives (pitted, preferably stuffed with garlic or pimentos)
- Mozzarella cheese (cut into cubes)
- Wooden or metal skewers
- Mustard or favorite dipping sauce
Instructions
- Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes if using, to prevent burning on the grill.
- Thread a slice of salami, a green olive, and another slice of salami onto each skewer. Optionally, add a cube of mozzarella between the salami layers.
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Place skewers on the grill and cook for 5–7 minutes per side until slightly charred and cheese is melty.
- Serve immediately with mustard or dipping sauce of choice.
Notes
- Substitute pepperoni for salami for a different flavor.
- Use cheddar, gouda, or pepper jack for variety.
- Add cherry tomatoes or pickles between layers for extra flavor.
- Mini skewers or toothpicks work well for cocktail-style portions.
