- 10 ounces frozen garlic bread loaf, thawed
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 15 ounces sloppy Joe sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded Colby jack cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)

- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and sauté onions until soft.
- Add ground beef and cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking it up until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in sloppy joe sauce, salt, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Place both halves of the garlic bread butter-side up on the baking sheet.
- Spread sloppy joe mixture evenly over the bread halves. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Notes
- Use ground turkey or chicken for a lighter version.
- Add bell peppers or mushrooms for extra texture.
- Swap in French bread or baguette if preferred over frozen garlic bread.
- Prepare sloppy joe mixture ahead for easy assembly.
- Reheat in oven for best texture or microwave for convenience.
