- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Rub the seasoning blend evenly on both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
- Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Remove from oven and let rest a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Switch up spices to fit different cuisines—try cumin and chili powder or Italian herbs and Parmesan.
- Marinate chicken in yogurt and lemon juice for extra tenderness.
- Can be made in an air fryer at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway.
