Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

  • 1 cup Colby Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 (10 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • ⅕ cup milk
  • ½ cup French’s fried onions
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon all-purpose seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped garlic, diced bell peppers, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced mushrooms, bacon bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Press ground beef evenly into the bottom of the dish. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle chopped onion on top.
  3. Layer thinly sliced potatoes over the beef and onions, seasoning again.
  4. Spread grated cheese evenly over the potatoes.
