This Turkey Club Cottage Cheese Wrap is a protein-packed, gluten-free twist on the classic club sandwich. The cottage cheese-based wrap is soft, golden, and flavorful, holding layers of deli turkey, fresh veggies, and a creamy pesto-mayo spread. It’s fresh, filling, and perfect for lunch or dinner.

  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 1 large wrap

Ingredients

Nonstick cooking spray, for greasing

1 1/4 cups whole-milk cottage cheese

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/8 teaspoon ground turmeric (optional)

Pinch kosher salt (to taste)

1 large egg

Filling:

2 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon pesto

34 slices deli turkey

2 leaves romaine, sliced into ribbons

1 medium tomato, thinly sliced

1/2 avocado, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with cooking spray.
  2. In a blender, combine cottage cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, turmeric (if using), salt, and egg. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into skillet, spreading evenly. Cook 2–3 minutes until edges set.
  4. Flip carefully and cook another 2–3 minutes until golden. Transfer to a plate to cool slightly.
  5. Mix mayonnaise and pesto in a small bowl, then spread over cooled wrap.
  6. Layer turkey, romaine, tomato, and avocado on top.
  7. Roll wrap tightly, slice in half, and serve.

Notes

  • Whole-milk cottage cheese gives the best texture, but low-fat can be used.
  • Turmeric is optional for color and earthy flavor.
  • A blender or food processor gives the smoothest wrap texture.
  • Let wrap cool slightly before filling to prevent tearing.
  • Don’t overfill—rolling is easier with moderate filling.
