The Ultimate Beefy Cheesy Fries Wrap combines seasoned ground beef, crispy French fries, and gooey cheese sauce wrapped in a toasted tortilla for the ultimate comfort food experience. It’s hearty, customizable, and incredibly satisfying.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 3–4 wraps

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 23 cups frozen French fries
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or preferred blend)
  • 1/2 cup milk (for cheese sauce)
  • 34 large flour tortillas or wraps
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional extras: sour cream, hot sauce, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeños

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven, air fryer, or deep-fryer and cook fries until golden and crispy. Set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water; simmer until well combined. Season with salt and pepper if needed.
  4. In a saucepan over low heat, warm the milk. Add shredded cheese and stir until melted into a smooth cheese sauce. Keep warm.
  5. Warm tortillas briefly in a skillet or microwave until pliable.
  6. To assemble, lay out each tortilla. Add a layer of seasoned beef, then crispy fries, and drizzle with cheese sauce. Add optional toppings as desired.
  7. Fold in the sides and roll up tightly from bottom to top.
  8. Toast wraps seam-side down in a skillet over medium heat for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  9. Let rest for a minute, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use two types of cheese for better flavor and melt (e.g., cheddar + Monterey Jack).
  • Homemade fries work great if baked or air-fried until crispy.
  • Warm tortillas before filling to prevent tearing.
  • Make vegetarian with plant-based meat or sautéed beans and veggies.
  • Reheat in skillet to restore crispiness if stored.
