- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 3/4 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: pinch of paprika or onion powder
Instructions
- Place ground chicken in a large mixing bowl.
- Add chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the mixture.
- Divide into 4 equal portions and form into patties.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or grill pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Cook the patties for 5–6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
- Let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- Swap white cheddar with mozzarella or pepper jack for variation.
- Add Italian herbs or chili flakes for extra seasoning.
- Mix in finely chopped onions or green onions for more texture.
- Use thawed, well-drained frozen spinach if fresh isn’t available.
- Freeze uncooked patties for up to 2 months; thaw before cooking.
