- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Ketchup, ranch dressing, or garlic sauce for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Wash and thoroughly dry the baby potatoes using a kitchen towel or paper towels.
- If the potatoes are large, cut them in half for even cooking.
- Place the potatoes in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- Add the garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Toss the potatoes until evenly coated with oil and seasoning.
- Arrange the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- Air fry for 18 to 22 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Cook until the potatoes are golden brown, crispy outside, and fork-tender inside.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Drying the potatoes well helps them crisp better in the air fryer.
- Avoid overcrowding the basket for even cooking and crispiness.
- Use smoked paprika for a deeper smoky flavor.
- Add parmesan cheese during the last few minutes for a cheesy version.
- Cajun seasoning or chili flakes can be added for extra spice.
- Fresh rosemary or thyme adds delicious herb flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
- Reheat in the air fryer at 375°F for 4 to 6 minutes to restore crispiness.
