Ingredients

  • 150 g boneless chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 1/4 cup cooking cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 baguette or 4 breadsticks
  • 3 tablespoons softened butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, paprika, turmeric, garam masala, and salt for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.
  3. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté onions until soft.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add tomato puree and cook until slightly thickened.
  6. Lower heat, add cream, chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Simmer gently.
  7. Add cooked chicken and coat well. Cook for 2–3 minutes and remove from heat.
  8. Mix softened butter with garlic and parsley.
  9. Slice bread and spread garlic butter evenly.
  10. Top with butter chicken mixture and sprinkle mozzarella cheese.
  11. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and bread is crisp.
  12. Slice and serve warm.

  • Use paneer instead of chicken for a vegetarian version.
  • Adjust chili powder for desired spice level.
  • Mix mozzarella with cheddar for richer flavor.
  • Add vegetables like bell peppers for extra texture.
