Ingredients
- 4 ounces pineapple juice
- 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream
- Fresh pineapple wedges, optional
- Maraschino cherries, optional
- Whipped cream, optional
- Toasted coconut flakes, optional
Instructions
- Add the frozen pineapple chunks to a high-speed blender or food processor.
- Pour in the pineapple juice.
- Add the vanilla ice cream.
- Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a splash of pineapple juice until the desired consistency is reached.
- For a thicker soft-serve texture, freeze the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
- Spoon or pipe the Dole Whip into serving bowls or glasses.
- Garnish with whipped cream, pineapple wedges, cherries, or toasted coconut if desired.
- Serve immediately while cold and creamy.
Notes
- Frozen pineapple creates the best thick and creamy texture.
- A high-speed blender works best for a smooth consistency.
- Dairy-free ice cream can be used for a dairy-free version.
- Store leftovers in the freezer for up to 1 week and re-blend before serving if needed.
- Add mango, strawberries, or banana for delicious flavor variations.
