- 2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
- 2 medium apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 2 tablespoons apricot jam (optional)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix apples, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch until well coated.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut each into 4 rectangles (8 total).
- Place rectangles on baking tray and lightly score a border around each piece.
- Spoon apple mixture into the center of each pastry.
- Whisk egg and milk together and brush onto pastry edges.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Optional: Brush warm apricot jam over pastries for shine.
- Cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
