  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 1/4 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon butter

Instructions

  1. Lay the tortilla flat and spread cream cheese evenly over one half.
  2. Sprinkle blueberries over the cream cheese.
  3. Drizzle honey or maple syrup and add a pinch of cinnamon.
  4. Fold the tortilla in half.
  5. Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
  6. Cook the quesadilla for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  7. Remove from pan, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh blueberries for best texture, or drain thawed frozen ones well.
  • Cook on medium heat to avoid burning the tortilla.
  • Add nuts or yogurt for extra protein.
  • Whole wheat tortillas can be used for a healthier option.
  • Best enjoyed fresh for optimal crispness.
