- 2 pounds lean ground beef or ground turkey

- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 200 grams mozzarella cheese, cut into cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, parmesan, eggs, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix gently.
- Take a portion of the mixture, flatten it, place a mozzarella cube in the center, and seal completely to form a ball.
- Heat olive oil in a pan (if using turkey) and brown meatballs on all sides. Set aside.
- In the same pan, heat olive oil and sauté onion until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and tomato paste.
- Add sugar, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper, then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Return meatballs to the sauce, cover, and simmer for 20–25 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve hot with pasta, rice, or bread, garnished with parsley or cheese if desired.

- Do not overmix meat to keep meatballs tender.
- Ensure mozzarella is fully sealed inside to prevent leakage.
- Brown meatballs for extra flavor before simmering.
