These no-bake protein balls are a quick, customizable snack made with almond flour, protein powder, and oat flour. They have a soft, cookie-dough-like texture and are perfect for a healthy energy boost, post-workout snack, or on-the-go bite.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 12–24 protein balls (about 6 servings)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup blanched almond flour, packed
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder, packed
  • 1/2 cup oat flour, packed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine almond flour, protein powder, oat flour, honey, and water.
  2. Stir until a thick, soft dough forms. Adjust texture with more water if too dry or more flour if too wet.
  3. Add vanilla extract and/or chocolate chips if using, then fold until evenly distributed.
  4. Lightly grease hands and roll mixture into bite-sized balls using a spoon or small scoop.
  5. Place balls on a tray and refrigerate for about 20 minutes until firm.

Notes

  • If mixture is too dry, add a little water or honey to help it bind.
  • If too sticky, add more oat or almond flour gradually.
  • Protein powder brand may affect texture, so adjust liquid as needed.
  • Chilling helps the balls firm up and improves texture.
  • Can be customized with cocoa powder, sprinkles, cinnamon, or dried fruit.
